Exploring Autumn

Fall in North Carolina never ceases to amaze me. We never got colors like this when I lived in Arizona growing up nor did I see much fall foliage on the Outer Banks.

In Chapel Hill, if you ride down Franklin Street at just the right time around the end of October, you’ll see what I saw! I just had to park my car and take some pictures. Enjoy! (The first photo is my own desktop BG. Def gets me in the mood for Thanksgiving!)

When I was a first-year college student in the fall of 2005, my RA was an unforgettable person named Ese… and how could one possibly forget her fabulous best friend Chasity? Over the years she has seen me grown up and we have run into each other at parties in Raleigh and in Chapel Hill. So naturally, for her 25th birthday she and I had to get together again and take some pictures to show off just how FABULOUS she has grown to be ! She has a lot to celebrate!

Marcus & Safira’s Love Story

I met my friend Marcus at UNC a few years ago, and I was more than happy to take pictures of him and his girlfriend Safira for their new apartment. We had originally planned on meeting at Duke Gardens for portraits, but when I arrived early I found that there was a concert going on at the spot in Durham! Crisis averted — we decided to meet on our own home turf and took pictures at the Old Well and at UNC’s arboretum. There’s no place like Carolina!
